He says he likes me but doesn't want a relationship, what!!?

Okay, If I don't explain or you don't understand ask me what else you want to know(:....So, I have been talking to this guy for a while now and we have a "close" friendship like kissing, touching, . Anywho' He claims he likes me a lot but doesn't want to be in a relationship because he doesn't feel it will last long even though we talk everyday and know pretty much everething about each other! When we talk on the phone he calls me babe or my name and asks stuff like what I would do if he were by me and how long would we last IF we were in a relationship how long I think it would last etc. Oo, the one thing that gets under my skin is, I need you to tell me you want me.....Lame right? Just someone help me, Do you think he want something more or should I just slow down our friendship?
