I saw a girl who was burned TERRIBLY in a fire, and now I can't stop crying? Please help?

Today I saw a young girl, perhaps around 18, who had been burned so horribly she honestly didn't look human......she looked nearly dead and it was absolutely one of the most heart breaking things I've ever seen.....immediately when I realized what had happened to her, I began getting all emotional and even my friends were asking me why I was acting all strange all the sudden. Now I'm laying in bed, unable to get her face out of my head, and balling my eyes out......I can't stop crying because it's soooooooooooooo heartbreaking :( :( :( :( is this normal to be this emotional over something like this??? I don't know why it devastated me so much........have you had similiar occurences? How did you deal with it? I'm fifteen years Old by the way.
