A question about the show the martin lawrence show?

they show martin's house.pam's house (which was originally gina's apartment until she moved in with martin for good in season 3) and cole's house (rarely but they still showed it)...how come they never in any episode of season 1 though 5 showed tommy's apartment?..i seen every episode and they never showed his house nor apartment not once..is it because he had not only no job but also no home or is it because he was a drug dealer on the low XD?
