Is the area of macho picchu and Cuzco in peru safe for a single female traveller?

I live in lima Peru, and I would recommend to be carefull of those famous BRICHEROS who only want to hook up with foreigners to get a green card or their money, you can find lots of bricheros at the discos over there and in the plaza de armas (central park in cuzco), bricheros tend to look like hippies peruvian style, they will do anything to get you in bed, like sliping pills in your drink or getting you drunk, many will deny they are bricheros but they all lie, I recommend you to stay the hell away from those kinds of individuals, tell them you were a man before and your enjoying your new change or something, they only want to trick you big time.
