Do you think I made the right choice today?

I went shopping for today to replace my glock 26 I sold. I only sold it to get a bigger Glock 19 so I whent to the gun store this morning. I had three different style glock 19's to choose from. A new standard 3rd generation, a new 3rd gen RTF (rough textured frame), and a like new 4th generation glock 19 with 3 mags. they all three were the same price but theoretically the 4th gen would have been $50 more if it was new. The owner said the RTF glocks are now strictly for law enforcement now and should gain in value over time but considering I could get my hands on a 4th gen, I went ahead and picked up the 4th gen instead. do you think I made the right choice or should I have picked up the RTF in hopes it would be more valuable in the future?
