Does anyone know what the fresh water fishing is like in New Zealand?

Can someone fill me in, I'm thinking about moving and I love to fish for B, and Muskie... I know these fish don't exist there but is there anything alike? Are there any Ranger or Nitro type fishing boats availiable there(low in the water b style)? I know trout fishing is good, but what else freshwater, preferably top lure.
